Statement: Routine Dentistry

To all of our valued clients at the Old Mill Dental.

Firstly we would like to thank you all for your continued support for our practice during these extraordinary times.

​

Following advice from the Dental Council of Ireland we are open for routine and emergency dentistry.

​

The way in which we operate has changed significantly during the Covid 19 pandemic. We have developed protocols and guidelines in relation to cross infection control and have utilised all guidance afforded by the American and Irish Dental Associations, the Department of Health, the HPSC and the Dental Council. This is to ensure the health and safety of both staff and patients alike.

We will be contacting all patients prior to their appointment and will be asking a series of questions in relation to Covid 19.  We would ask that you refrain from attending the practice, self isolate immediately and contact your GP should you exhibit any symptoms of a respiratory tract infection such as shortness of breath, a cough, fever or any flu like symptoms.

​

We would appreciate that you arrive at your appointed time and ask that you wait in your car until we contact you to enter the building. You will be asked to hand sanitize on arrival on the premises and again asked a series of questions. We will create scheduled delays between appointments to reduce footfall in the practice and reduce patient to patient contact as much as possible.

All staff will be wearing appropriate PPE.

 

We would ask where possible that you attend for your appointment alone. We would also ask that you remove jewellery prior to your dental visit and bring as little personal belongings with you as possible. We would ask that you maintain a 2M social distancing policy wherever possible on the premises and adhere to correct coughing and respiratory etiquette.

As always our staff are here to help. We find ourselves currently in an unprecedented dynamic situation which we will be constantly monitoring and we will continue to update you as the need arises.
